If trying local snacks is part of every trip, add ‘pisang goreng’ to your Bali food list 🍌❣️

Pisang goreng or Indonesian fried banana, is one of those simple snacks that somehow hits every time.

For her first-ever pisang goreng, Jill went straight for two favourites: chocolate and cheese, plus cheese with brown sugar. And the best part? It was only IDR 25K. The verdict? Honestly, amazing.

Don’t leave Bali without giving pisang goreng a try. Your only problem might be missing it really soon!

Aye… Pizza lovers don’t scroll, because this video is for you! 🍕💕

If you’re wondering where to find the best pizza in Bali beyond the so-so slices, here are four spots worth knowing:

🍕 — Authentic Italian pizza made by an Italian chef-owner who brings a little Bali energy into every dough.

🍕 — Chef-owner comes from Puglia, where pizza and focaccia don’t try too hard. Simple ingredients with seriously good flavour!

🍕 .legian — The proof? They’ve been around for 15 years! Step inside and it feels like you’ve landed in a neighbourhood pizzeria in Italy.

🍕 — For those who like pizza a little more experimental. Think NYC-style big slices, fun toppings, and plenty of personality.

Four different pizza moods, one Bali Food list. Tell us which one are you trying first?

The legendary Indonesian restaurant, Bendega | Sejak 1996, is turning 30, and they’re marking the occasion with an exclusive Nusantara-inspired set menu created in collaboration with Chef Ron.

We got to try the full experience, from the comforting Gending Segara and fragrant Tabia Gadang Metambus to the rich Balinese-style duck. The grilled cabbage was an unexpected favourite, while the cucumber and starfruit brought a fresh, tangy balance to the table.

And the best part? You can’t order these dishes individually. The set is designed to be enjoyed together, making it perfect for sharing with family or celebrating something special.

Launching 8 September, exclusively at Bendega.

THIS IS Best 7 Seminyak Japanese restaurant guide. Pick by your mood, not by hype 🥢🍱

Seminyak is a gamechanger for foodies. Some nights call for quiet omakase. Some nights need wagyu on fire, sushi trains, or a proper bowl of ramen.

Here’s where to go:
• Takumi 匠 • Japanese Fine Dining
When dinner should feel focused. Sit down, trust the chef, and let the sake follow.
• Yawara Bali
A yakiniku night with premium cuts and slow grilling. The table talk between bites.
• SUSHIMI • SUSHI TRAIN • SUSHI PLATTER • SUSHI CATERING
Easy sushi train energy for quick cravings and casual dates. You will shout “one more plate, please!”
• Shichirin Japanese Restaurant Seminyak by Wonderspace
Fire at the counter and seafood on the grill. While dinner with a little theatre.
• RYOSHI BALI
The old-school choice that still works for sushi, ramen, and donburi. Lit your night with their live-jazz mood.
• Dahana Restaurant
This is what we call ‘Japanese comfort food with a pool-side pause.’
• Rayjin Teppanyaki
Teppanyaki but make it louder! best place for group nights.

Save this before your next Seminyak dinner plan in Japanese style!
