Our Story - what’s up with the name??!!
What’s up with the name? No - we don’t burn our broccoli! Back in 2013 one of our founders, Danu, loved teasing our chef (Herson) about his fabulous curly black hair (kind of an afro, actually) and loved telling him his hair was like black broccoli!! ... and, the name of the business was born!!!
Who are we? Well... Herson is on sabbatical now and Joko has joined us. He is an extraordinary chef with lots of experience and fabulous meal ideas to share with you!!
And what is it we do??? Well, Danu’s wife, a foreigner, got to thinking and talking to the gang about it and was pretty convinced that she wasn’t the only bule that was getting tired of nasi putih and cap cay... Together, the team envisioned a delivery dinner service that offered a mix of Indo and Bule food... or, as we call it - BuleNesian!!
We post our menu items on the weekend for the coming week - we have a featured dinner item and several additional options!
