*Ramadhan feast*
Soup? Udh sering.
Beef stew? Sering juga.
Rawon? Ga ada kluwek di fridge.
Ada Lamb Chops nih.
Lamb Biryani with Basmati Rice sounds delicious.
Cook in Aurora Dutch Oven from SKITCHEN. Why not?
Marinate:
Lamb chops.
Yogurt
Fried Onions (Bw.Bombay)
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
Indian Basil leaves
Green Cardamom
Black Cardamom
Cinnamon stick
Garam Masala
Biryani spices
Rice:
Basmati Rice (washed)
Black pepper corn
Indian Cumin
Green Cadamom
Black Cardamom
Biryani topping:
Saffron (Iran)
Milk
Ghee
Fried Onions
Fry onions (in batches) in moderate amount of cooking oil until slightly golden. Set aside.
Marinate lamb chops with marination ingredients. Store in fridge for few hours.
To cook the lamb chops.
Using AURORA dutch oven from SKITCHEN.
Heat little amount of oil & ghee. Sear lamb chop in batches. When it is all done, arrange lamb chops back in the dutch oven add water. Cover. Cook until tender. Dont forget to taste.
Place Basmati rice in a bowl, add water, salt & spices, boil until "aldente".
Add Basmati rice on top of lamb chops.
Top with fried onions & spices, saffron milk, few tablespoons of ghee. Covers. Heat off. Let the rice cooked for few minutes.
Serving:
Put rice on a plate. Top with lamb biryani. Garnish with coriander leaves, mint leaves, fried onions.
