Caught!!! 🎉

The killarney rooster we were alerted to the other day was successfully caught yesterday evening by Paulie & our friend Sabrina!! They worked together with our tried & trusted ‘rooster kit’ & finally outsmarted the little chap 😂🎉💪
(we’ve been sharing Sabrina’s GoFundMe for her little dog Spenny: https://gofund.me/c24312f42)

Not sure of the circumstance as this photo was sent to us, but this chicken (likely a rooster) has been roaming around the sports complex in Killarney.

Can anyone local help to catch him?

A home has been offered so its just to physically secure the bird.

Loki is doing much much better by now,
but he did have a rough first few days of recovery after his dental surgery.

I was watching him around the clock so not much sleep was had, not there really is with a nursing baba 🫠

All that to say, thankfully nothing sinister was found in his ultrasound scans bar the very early onset of kidney disease that had been picked up on through his blood work at Allcare Veterinary Surgery - we did find out that he had only been born with one kidney though which was fascinating!

So for right now, we are managing his condition through his diet 🤞

Please help our friend Sabrina who also works at Allcare Veterinary Surgery in Killarney who have helped us a lot this year - her sweet little senior rescue dog Spenny is incredibly sick with extraordinarily high Vet costs for specialist scans & treatments

Today is tough, we’re splitting ourselves with Paulie bringing our sick hen to our Vet in Tralee, and then me bringing Loki for his scan in Killarney 😣
