What a beautiful morning to welcome Brenda Donohue from RTÉ Radio 1 to Bagenalstown Swimming Pool … can you believe she jumped into the pool live on the radio 📻🎤 Go Brenda!!

Before Brenda took the plunge she did manage to have a chat with some local children and local legends themselves ⭐️ Mary Foster (who is definitely responsible for most of Bagenalstown knowing how to swim) and the weather phenomenon himself Carlow Weather Mr Alan O’Reilly ⚡️☀️

Jenny & Laura from The Old Post Office Cafe went missing for a while dropping off sweet treats and lemonades to the staff and radio crew … mmm wonder did they get in for a dip themselves!? 👙😂🏊‍♀️

So what exactly do we do that helps the environment & reduces waste? 🤔

From donating old coffee grounds to local gardens to using reusable & rentable coffee cups, every step we take is aimed at reducing our footprint. Since we renovated this fantastic old building in Bagenalstown, we are so proud to work with local suppliers and collaborated with nearby businesses for our renovations, even choosing second-hand furniture to give our space a unique charm.
