One carefully planned overnight operation, one road closure window, and one incredible crane lift.

Our team took part in the installation of a modular home into the rear garden of an existing property in Ennis, Co. Clare.
Working within the permitted road closure window of 22:00–06:00, the operation was completed 72 minutes ahead of schedule.

A huge thank you to East Cork Crane Hire Ltd, O'Carroll Crane Hire Co. Limerick & McAleer & Conway Construction Northern Ireland (Manufacturers of the Modular Home) for their professionalism, attention to detail, cooperation & assistance in getting this project over the line (or in this case the existing residence).

Some jobs simply can't be done the conventional way.

Recently, the O'Donovan Agri Group team provided traffic management support for a unique overnight crane lift operation in Ennis, Co. Clare, where a modular home section had to be carefully lifted over an existing property and into position.

Working through the night from 10pm until 6am, the project required detailed planning, close coordination between contractors, and safe management of traffic and pedestrians while the crane operation was underway.

Projects like these highlight the importance of experienced traffic management and event support teams working alongside specialist contractors to ensure complex operations are completed safely and efficiently.

A huge well done to everyone involved in delivering another successful project.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our friend and former colleague, Gerrit.

Many of our customers will remember Gerrit from his time with O'Donovan Agri Group, where his friendly nature and great sense of humour made a lasting impression on everyone he met.

To those of us working alongside him, he was much more than a colleague – he was a friend and a valued member of our work family.

Gerrit had a remarkable way with people. Whether he was helping a customer or sharing a story, he brought warmth, enthusiasm, and plenty of laughter to every day. His entertaining personality and genuine kindness made him someone who will be fondly remembered by customers and colleagues alike.

On Sunday, 21st June, Gerrit was tragically taken from us while enjoying one of his greatest passions – motorcycling. News of his passing has been deeply felt throughout our team.

Our sincere condolences go to Gerrit's family, friends, and loved ones at this difficult time.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Gerrit.
