Back in 2014 we made the first ever delivery of Black Donkey Brewing bottles (Sheep Stealer of course). That delivery was to Cahill's SuperValu in Castlerea. Today, we made the final delivery of Black Donkey bottles (Sheep Stealer & Sgt Jimmy). That delivery was also made to Cahill's SuperValu Ireland. Our first customers were all local, and most of them were still with us at the end. To them, and everyone else who supported us and accompanied us on the that was Black Donkey Brewing, we . A delicious result from a delicious collaboration.

🍺 We've come full circle!

Almost three years after releasing Ruacioto, our collaboration with , a Wild Irish Red Ale barrel-aged in Recioto della Valpolicella barrels, we've secured the last two cases of 6yr Single Malt finished in the same barrel as the beer!

🥃 Tasting notes:

Nose: Sweet maltiness with a hint of chocolate, followed by fruity aromas - figs, prunes and sultanas.

Taste: Sweet, soft with chocolate, fruit; figs golden raisins, a hint of melon. Definite warning spices - choices, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Finish: Long and spicy with malt and golden raisins.

Very limited quantities, give us a shout if you want to secure your bottle.

Any orders received during the closed period will be shipped on 20/03/25.

Another one for the cabinet 😂. We're definitely not hunters, but we really do it when you show us some , by loving our beers. "Yes Marm" (long since sold out 😭) was the number one rated in in 2024. As rated by , paying , not by "judges". You are the people we for.
