Four days the kitchen takes over at Hackett's bar during Fastest Film festival 2026!!!!
From Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th of May.
Serving shockingly good and taste buds pleasing dishes wrapped in flat breads.
Come and try Bantry Beef sausage, Falafel or crispy Oyster Mushrooms!!! All of them served with homemade sauces, and garnishes with a touch of West Cork products.
A whole short menu present on the day.

Hi folks, starting the brunch menu this weekend at and with rotated menu items for the next few weeks... Some eggs and free range sausages will be involved, also beans and many other things... everything is made from scratch when possible!!!
in the next few weeks I will go through lots of different brunch options from all over the world, and u might get breakfast bap one week, French toast, breakfast tacos or miso soup week after. Watch this place and hopefully everyone will find something special for themselves.
This weekend on the menu some free range pork sausages, black beans, kraut and eggs... Will hide some potatoes there as well, with plenty of wild garlic and vegetarian/vegan options will be there, also celiacs always welcome if U willing to skip soda bread... Strictly local products and everything made from scratch when possible.
Check my stories for weekly menus and location of brunch spots, if I am not on the markets then I will cook somewhere in West Cork.

Vegetarian or vegan food doesn't have to be boring or ultra processed... Check my weekly menus for veggie/vegan dishes and enjoy seasonal/weekly creations. This week we have peanut dashi with okara and mushrooms dumplings, house made tofu, and seaweed salad...
First attempt at tofu making I can mark as very successful ...
Veggie food doesn't have to be boring at all, specially when you use quality ingredients and try to balance amounts of protein in it.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, young, old and in a middle age crisis. Save the dates and call in for some grub to this December. Always homemade from scratch grub full of flavour, local and chemical free/organic whenever possible. Cooked to order and served in a very casual way in one of the most amazing pubs around West Cork.

Menu will always include local sources carnivore option, vegetarian/vegan option and some local spoods served as chips. We are serving all of the dietary requirements whenever possible.
