PROST! HAGTOBERFEST IS COMING TO BALLYMOTE

Dust off the lederhosen and get ready to raise a stein - Hagtoberfest is taking over The White Hag Brewery on Friday 25th & Saturday 26th September.

From 3pm til late, we’re bringing a taste of Oktoberfest to Ballymote with our own German-inspired beers, The White Hag favourites, and special German guest beers, alongside German-inspired food, music, games, and plenty of festival craic.

Expect stein-holding contests, a Best Dressed competition with a prize worth €250 up for grabs, and a brewery packed with people ready to eat, drink, and celebrate.

Tickets are just €15, including 2 drinks tokens and a pretzel, and are limited to 250 tickets per day. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so rally the crew and get yours booked early.

Two days. Big steins. Great beer. Hagtoberfest.

Cloudwater Helles has landed in Beers by Buds.

We’ve added Cloudwater’s Helles Classic German Lager to our online store, and it’s one for anyone who appreciates clean, crisp, beautifully made beer.

Brewed at 4.5%, this classic German-style lager uses a Bavarian-inspired water profile, quality German grain, and Tettnanger hops to create something delicate, refined, and seriously drinkable.

A decoction mash helps build those rich malt flavours, giving it a light, bready character while keeping the finish crisp and refreshing.

Born in Germany, brewed in Manchester, and now available from The White Hag.

The bar will be open from 6pm, with live music from Seamie McGowan & Eoin Troy from 6pm–8pm.

Saturday 22nd August - Warrior’s Run Day:
The full bar will be open as Strandhill comes alive for the 40th Warrior’s Run.

Expect a full day of entertainment, including:

We’re keeping the Hagstravaganza spirit alive and bringing a taste of the festival straight to your fridge with this year’s limited edition box.

Throwback to last Friday and day one with the brewers of Hagstravaganza.

Before the festival madness kicked off, we started the weekend the only way we know how - with a trip to the Sligo Oyster Experience - Tours & Tastings I’m Strandhill, followed by a few well-earned pints in Brees Strandhill

While we’re proud to host Hagstravaganza every year, it simply wouldn’t be the same without the incredible guest breweries who join us. They bring the beer, the stories, the knowledge, the craic, and the kind of energy that makes the whole weekend what it is.

These are people who brew brilliant beer, but they’re even better banter. Every year, getting to welcome the guest crew to Sligo is one of the best parts of Hagstravaganza. Hearing about their own journeys, sharing ideas, pouring each other’s beers, and spending time together before the taps start flowing is something we’re very grateful for.

A huge thank you to every brewery who travelled, poured, chatted, laughed, and helped set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

Hagstravaganza is built on great beer, but it’s the people behind it who make it special.
