⚠️*Important Notice* ⚠️

Due to the increased input costs this spring associated with establishing all tillage and hay crops-

•Fertiliser 📈⬆️
•Diesel 📈⬆️

There has been many famers and merchants buying any remaining bales of last years 2025 stock in an attempt to save money as this years forage will be more costly. This may not suit everyone depending on storage/cash flow but if this is an option for you, we would highly consider it. We have some stock remaining but are limited. These are tricky times for all businesses and we understand the difficultly we are all facing. If we can assist in anyway drop us an email/phone call.

Thanks.

*Update*

We are doing are best to keep everyone stocked up as the bad weather is set to continue into next week with no sign of improvement in the outlook until later in April. Diesel and haulage costs are adding to the freight significantly but we can only manage what is within our own control.
We currently have enroute to yard today several loads containing-
-Small bale hay in 21 packs
-Round bale hay
-8x3x3 barley straw
-8x4x3 hay

These will keep supplies topped up for the next few days. As always new customers are welcome and we will do our best to help you out.

Thanks

Ashley

The Irish Tillage Sector is on its knees financially compared to every other agri sector currently. Why you ask?
The cost of inputs/labour in Ireland, Inflation/Value of money decreasing and the fact over 70% of imported grain is coming from outside the EU which has little to no regulations and half the production costs. Tillage farmers in NI don't even have TAMS/Straw chopping schemes like the ROI. Irish tillage farmers will never be able to compete on a global scale.
They are currently taking €30-€40 per tonne less than this time last year. Buying Irish grain and straw will all help in a small way to support them.
