The weather might be a little grim today, but we are already living for next week’s sunshine.

It’s been a busy morning here at Patterson’s with breakfast packs flying out the door ahead of the big match tomorrow, and of course our XL chickens are proving a popular choice for Father’s Day.

As we head into what looks like a fantastic week of weather, we’ll be fully stocked with all your BBQ favourites. If you’re planning a barbecue, we’ve got you covered with the freshest local meat around, all prepared by us in-store every day.

As we continue to celebrate the history of Patterson’s Family Butchers, we are delighted that we are creating a dedicated History & Archive section on our website.

For over 85 years, Patterson’s has been part of the fabric of the local community, and we know there are countless stories, photographs, memories, newspaper clippings and pieces of history still waiting to be shared.

Perhaps you remember visiting the shop as a child, worked here over the years, or have a story passed down through your family. Whatever it may be, we would love to hear from you.

Please send us a message, write us a letter, or call into the shop with your stories, photographs and memories. Every contribution will help us preserve and celebrate the rich history of Patterson’s for future generations.

For over 10 years, Patterson’s Family Butchers have proudly sponsored Hotdog Day at Scoil Naomh Iosaf 🌭

At this stage we think it might genuinely be one of the most looked forward to days in the school calendar… possibly even more than the summer holidays 😅

Because you support local, we are able to give back to the local community year after year. From school events like this to local clubs and charities, your support really does make a difference.

This Friday the grills will be on, the sauce bottles will be flying and we already know there’ll be plenty of requests for “just a tiny bit more ketchup” 😂

€2 per hotdog with all funds raised going directly back to benefit the school through the Parents’ Association.
