Ireland’s heating up… and we’re ready for it ☀️🔥🧊

With the heatwave on the way, it’s time to stock up on Pure Irish Ice for ice-cold sangrias, BBQs, garden parties & summer nights done right 🍷🍊🧊

Here’s our recipe for perfect Sangria every time 🍹

Ingredients:

* 1 bottle red wine (Tempranillo, Merlot, or Rioja work well)
* 1 orange, sliced
* 1 lemon, sliced
* 1 apple, chopped
* 1 cup orange juice
* 2 tbsp brandy or orange liqueur
* 2 tbsp sugar or honey (optional)
* 1 cup sparkling water or lemonade
* Plenty of ice cubes

Method

1. Add sliced fruit to a large pitcher.
2. Pour in the wine, orange juice, and brandy.
3. Stir in sugar or honey if using.
4. Chill for at least 2 hours so the flavours blend.
5. Just before serving, add sparkling water and lots of ice.
6. Serve in glasses filled with fruit and extra ice.

Optional Additions

* Strawberries, blueberries, or peaches
* Cinnamon stick for a warmer flavour
* Fresh mint for a refreshing twist

Serving Tip!

Your Pure Irish Ice cubes work perfectly for keeping sangria cold without watering it down too quickly.
