🍋I’m parting with some of my prizes lemon verbena trees, and it’s not easy to see them go but I need the room in my tunnels! After 8 years of nurturing these trees from young plants into the stunning mature specimens they are today 🍋
You won’t find a lemon verbena this mature in any garden centre in Ireland. While most lemon verbena are sold as young stock and are treated as a single season annual, these are rare 8 year old specimens that have been fully acclimatised to our climate.
I’ve personally seem them through our toughest winters. By keeping them in my poly tunnels, I’ve been able to give them all the protection they’ve needed to stay healthy year after year. They are now established, resilient and and ready to go to their new homes 🍋

40 years ago today I met this amazing human being Eamonn and somehow I’ve managed to keep him ever since 😄❤️

Then began what can only be described as our very consistent 9-month life plan 😂

9 months later we were engaged…
9 months after that I married my best friend in Rome…
9 months later we were expecting our first child…
9 months later our first daughter Gemma arrived…
and yes… 9 months later we were expecting our second daughter…
and you guessed it — 9 months later Maria arrived 😂

We did eventually break the 9-month cycle (thankfully 😄) and waited a little while before completing our family with our son Eamonn jnr ❤️

All these years later, he is still my world.
is my soulmate, my yesterday, my today, and my tomorrow, my forever ❤️

We work side by side almost 24/7, and I still miss him if he’s not there. He makes me smile and laugh even on the darkest days with his crazy sense of humour 🤪

Every moment together has been a blessing, and I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built and the memories we continue to make with our amazing friends and family 😀

40 years on and I’d choose him all over again ❤️

💔Just a year ago our beautiful Mum left this world, and two days ago our dear Dad joined her 💔
After a long illness, he is finally free and back where his heart always was…reunited with mum 💔
This is one of my favourite photos of them as it captures them in their glowing younger years, a couple often compared to movie stars ⭐️ Love was not always simple between us but it was very real ❤️
I loved them both dearly, and my heart is broken 💔
