Coolanowle Foodhall is a family owned and managed foodie haven situated on Dublin Street in Carlow Town with a strong ethos on local and sustainable food production and farm to fork approach.

The Foodhall is open Mon – Sat from 8.30am-5.30pm and includes:

Organic Butchers (with meat from our own organic farm on the Carlow/Laois border - you can also buy online at www.organicmeat.ie and from numerous farmers markets weekly across Dublin and Kilkenny.

Upstairs is Bistro 7 – our newly launched daytime restaurant offering an extensive cooked to order menu featuring organic, in house and local produce. Open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am ( last orders at 3.30pm) for breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon treats. We can take small group bookings and can also offer a bookable private dining area.

In our ground floor Deli you can grab a quick organic, fair trade, rainforest alliance barrista coffee (with a tasty homebaked treat perhaps) or choose from our breakfast menu, extensive signature sandwich range, daily soup and healthy salad specials and organic hot dish choices for here or to take away! We also offer gourmet outside catering for functions as well as occasion cakes.

In our retail section we have a superb range of local artisan food products for you to bring home ranging from our inhouse range of; ready meals, cold deli organic meats, salads, home baking, chutneys, houmous, pestos, salad dressings, cooking sauces, jams and cakes.

We also stock local; cordials, preserves, honey, organic & free range eggs, organic milk from our farm, local cheeses (some of which are made with organic milk from our farm), country butter, organic vegetables, sourdough breads, organic dry goods, selection of local oils, raw apple cider and balsamic vinegars, local porridge oats and gluten free products.

We champion local artisan producers and organic foods and are always delighted to introduce our customers to some of our favourites and support our local producers.
