What a weekend. ❤️

On World Gin Day, something very special happened in Carrickmacross.

Almost 1,000 runners joined us from across Ireland and beyond for the biggest Old Carrick Mill Gin Run we have ever hosted.

What began as an idea to celebrate our distillery, our town and the amazing people around us has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.

Over the last few days we have seen friendships formed, personal goals achieved, finish lines crossed, countless smiles shared and a community come together to create something truly unforgettable.

To every runner, volunteer, sponsor, local business, partner, supporter and spectator — thank you.

This event belongs to all of you.

We are incredibly proud to call Carrickmacross home and even prouder to share it with so many people who travelled to be part of the experience.

What a day.

On World Gin Day, almost 1,000 runners joined us in Carrickmacross for the biggest Old Carrick Mill Gin Run yet.

To every single person who travelled from near and far, thank you. Whether you ran, walked, volunteered, marshalled, supported a friend, cheered from the sidelines, helped behind the scenes, or simply believed in what we are trying to build, this day would not have happened without you.

What started as an idea has grown into something much bigger than a race. It's become a celebration of community, friendship, balance and everything that makes this part of Ireland so special.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, partners, local businesses, emergency services, photographers, entertainers, bus drivers, event crew and the countless people who gave their time to help make today possible.

We are incredibly proud of what was achieved together.

Tonight we are tired, grateful and already looking back at a day we will never forget.

Please be ready by 9:30am as we will be moving runners to the start line.

With almost 1,000 runners, this will take time.

The Old Carrick Mill Gin Run 2026 is officially SOLD OUT!

A huge thank you to everyone who signed up and helped make this our biggest event yet. We are blown away by the support from runners travelling from across Ireland and beyond to join us in Carrickmacross.

Now all that's left to do is enjoy the countdown to race day.

🏃 Please make sure to arrive early on the morning of the event. We have plenty happening before the start, including a few surprises you won't want to miss, and you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to warm up and soak up the atmosphere.
