New vlog 4pm today! Because of you we can get a bit further!
Last week we shared where things stand for us, with our Cornwall house still unsold and a big decision hanging over our homestead dream.
We’ve come up with a bold, ambitious idea to try and make the cottage habitable by Christmas… but we’re still working out if it’s realistically possible.
The response from you all has honestly blown us away, and it’s given us real hope that this might be achievable. We’re incredibly grateful — and we’re continuing to see how things develop.
In the meantime, we’re just ploughing on.
And we start with one of the most intimidating jobs yet…
Replacing the lintels above the old hag. A two-metre span, not enough supports, and a plan that relies on a mix of creativity, caution, and optimism (plus some gung ho!)
If this Christmas dream is going to happen, this is where it begins.
