A little moment we’re very proud of today 🐑❤️

Getting to put the Blas na hÉireann 2026 Finalist stickers on our legs of lamb going out to customers today was a pretty special feeling.

There’s a lot of work that goes into getting our lamb from the farm to the customer, so seeing that sticker makes it all feel very worthwhile.

We’re incredibly proud of our lamb, proud to be a finalist, and most importantly, grateful to everyone who continues to support us and buy from the farm.

To see our lamb go from our farm to the kitchen of The Grace is something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a great recognition of the work that goes into producing our lamb, and we’re delighted to see a local organic product being enjoyed at such a fantastic Mayo destination.

Growing Gleann Aoláin 🌱🐑

Over the last few months, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes to take the next step in the growth of Gleann Aoláin Organic Farm.

We’re delighted to be expanding our facilities with a new modular building, which will include a dedicated office, fridges, kitchen and washroom facilities.

It’s a big step forward for us and something we’ve been working towards for some time. Our aim is to continue improving what we do, while keeping the same focus on quality, local produce and a genuine farm-to-table approach.

From humble beginnings to where we are today, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. ❤️

There’s plenty more to come from Gleann Aoláin Organic Farm… and we’re only getting started! 🌱🐑

Being recognised as a finalist in Ireland's most prestigious food awards is a huge honour and a proud moment for our family farm.
