The End of an Era (and an Exciting New Chapter!) ❤️

To all our wonderful customers, friends, and neighbours,

After 29 incredible years in this shop—12½ years working alongside Jim Duffy and the last 16½ years running it myself—the time has come to close our doors. Our final day will be Saturday, 27 June 2026.

This shop has been the biggest part of my life for almost three decades. It has been far more than just a business; it has been a place filled with friendship, laughter, stories, and memories that I will cherish forever.

I have loved every single day spent behind this counter, getting to know generations of families and sharing so many chats along the way. The support, kindness, and loyalty you have shown me over the years have meant more than I could ever put into words.

While it is incredibly emotional to say goodbye to the shop, it isn’t goodbye to us. We are making this decision so we can focus fully on growing Eamon Byrne’s Catering, and I am excited for this next chapter. I look forward to continuing to serve you in a different way.

Please call in before 27 June to say hello and goodbye. I would love the chance to see you all one last time and thank you personally for being such an important part of my life and this journey.
