Such odd names people have given this! Bin soup, mouldy soup, s**t soup 🫣🫣🫣
So disrespectful to a beautiful bowl of goodness! Don’t throw out the old sad veg - chop them up, roast them and make a soup - I served with a drizzle of cream and some gorgeous seeds - with a slice of that homemade sourdough. It went down well!

Help! I have visitors for lunch - if you were coming here what would you want me to make? Answers below!
I’m having too much fun with this! One more bake. These stayed fresh for 30 hours sitting on the kitchen table uncovered! Freeze perfectly great with butter, pâté, cheese, a bit of relish - light and delicious.
Visitors tomorrow. No idea what we’re eating yet but sure we’ll see!

I’m in my clear out phase - using up what’s in the house - and so this dinner worked really well and was unbelievably tasty! I’ll pop the rough ingredients in a comment below. I can share the white sauce recipe with you by dm as I’ve shared that before. We ate all of this between the two of us and needed nothing else - no potato! Would you give this a try?

Are you a dried fruit in granola type of person? Or do you avoid like the plague? Have you tried this one yet? It’s easy to sub in different ingredients like I did here. Tell me, what’s your favourite ingredient in granola? I’ve shared the recipe at the end so you can screenshot it. It can be vegan, gluten free, anything you want it to be!

Episode 3 of rhubarb love! Make your own! I used Nancy’s pastry but you can use a sweet shortcrust if you prefer, and this works beautifully with chopped strawberries, apricots, mangoes or blackcurrants even. What fruit would you use? Don’t forget to butter and flour your tins! Recipe in the comments below. Happy Bank Holiday.

All you ever wanted to know about making sourdough! Thanks to Tadhg for the fabulous teaching.
I have two pans in the fridge for baking tomorrow - and I’m not going to lie, I watched this edited video I don’t know how many times to make sure I got it right. Save this or share it so you don’t lose it - I’ll add a sourdough highlight to my home page so you can find the last little step to baking which I shared on Tuesday last.
Ingredients used in the pinned comment below. I keep a tiny bit of starter and I fed it last night before going to bed so it was ready this morning. I’m back to a minimal amount left again today. I added 100g each of flour and water to my jar to get my 200g starter. I’m off to bed - fresh sourdough awaits me in the morning!

Are you team thigh or team fillet? When it comes to chicken I love thigh meat, but this works equally well with either. The thighs take a little longer to cook. Did I mention this one is gluten free? What a win!
