A Hollywood legend is heading to Ireland for a brand new BBC series, and his trip around the island looks like it could take some unexpected turns as he explores his Irish roots.
Bill Murray is hitting the road with his good friend and author Tom Coyne for A Course Called Ireland, a new six-part series that sees the pair playing some of the island's most famous golf courses while meeting the people who make Ireland so special.
We've now got our first look at the series, which also features Bill's brothers Joel and John Murray, alongside famous faces including Chris O'Dowd and Jason Kelce, with Irish comedian Joanne McNally also joining Bill for part of the adventure.
The series follows Bill as he travels across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with each episode taking him to a different golf course alongside a special guest, although the real fun begins when the group heads away from the fairways and discovers what makes the island so special.
Us Bill Murray fans can expect plenty of laughs and some unexpected moments as the actor spends time with his family and famous friends, with the BBC promising a very different kind of travel show that gives us a closer look at Bill's love for Ireland and his Irish heritage.
We won't have long to wait to see how the trip turns out, as A Course Called Ireland starts on BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC iPlayer on Friday 23 October, before arriving on BBC Two on Sunday 25 October at 9.30pm.
