Our foundation mare Barana Grey passed at the age of 26 years. I bought her from late Jimmy Duggan back in 2008. She went to Clarkstown Connemara ponies in 2023 after my change in career. Over the past few days i have taken pictures of her progeny here at Fortane and the legacy this mare has left. Some stock is available for others to secure a very solid mareline.

Meet Fortane Joanna Win Gold a filly foal by Grade A showjumper Glencroft Go For Gold (Full brother to Blackwoodland Rock). His dam is Barana Rita Ann a Lishmar Shadow mare, Her mareline is Barana Grey line a lot of jumpers and eventers produced. Barana Rita Ann is a maternal sister to FEI pony Niles Boy. One to watch for the future. 🐎
