Forward for Headford Mart this Saturday, may 9th are these 2 super Belgian Blue X heifers, 19/20 months old.

Very quiet, super friendly cattle with serious quality and power. Ideal either as replacement heifers or to finish.

These girls were never pushed hard — reared mainly on top quality silage — and are coming on very well.

Would breed top class commercial weanlings or make excellent strong finishers.

Our sole pedigree Charollais ewe lamb this year… but she’s certainly not short on quality.

She’s an absolute super lamb with style, power, and presence to burn. The kind that makes you stop and look twice 👌

We might only have one Charollais this year… but if they were all like this, we’d be in serious trouble 😅

This lovely Suffolk ewe lamb was out today soaking up the sunshine — and she certainly knew how to show herself off 📸

Sired by A Hastings Ewe and out of Castleisle A Kingsman, she’s got all the breeding behind her and plenty of style to match 👀🔥

A real sweet, correct lamb with a great outlook — hard not to like her on a day like today!

We’ve a cracking pen of rams up for grabs this season:

🐏 Hogget rams – Texel, CharTex & Zwartbles
🐑 12 ram lambs – Texel (embryo lambs reared right), CharTex & Suftex and Zwartbles

✅ Some are SIS approved
✅ Ram lambs fertility tested – come with semen analysis reports from early August

🟢 Grass reared – only fed once a day on a little bit of meal since June
🟢 A handful on ad-lib feeding
🟢 A few inside just the past week (only because of fighting – they’re well fit)

💉 On full Heptavac system
💊 Regular cobalt, fluke, worm, mineral & coccidiosis doses since lambs

These are powerful, correct rams with bone and shape. Hoggets are strong and ready for plenty of ewes, while the ram lambs are naturally reared, stylish and tested fit for the job.
