Where I come from, we grow up with a Sanskrit phrase: Atithi Devo Bhava. The guest is God.
When I moved to Ireland, I heard Céad Míle Fáilte everywhere, a hundred thousand welcomes. I understood it straight away. Same concept but a different language.

India taught me that a guest is sacred. Ireland showed me that a welcome is a gift. That’s what Robert and I built Rebel City on. Over six years, we’ve hosted thousands of you from every walk of life, and so many of you have come back with your friends and families. Today we have 1,110 reviews, every one of them 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Each one is someone telling us they felt welcome, and that’s the highest honour a host can receive.Thank you for making our home yours.

Atithi Devo Bhava. Céad Míle Fáilte. 🥃

This lovely group has been visiting us for the last 3 years, travelling all the way from the UK to Cork. And every time, Rebel City Distillery makes it onto their itinerary🥹

They’ve been making their trips to Mad Hatter in Kinsale for over a decade, so we’re delighted to have become a little part of their Cork tradition too.And yes, we’re already talking about and looking forward to our next October 💙🧿

Honestly, this is one of my favourite parts of the job. You start by welcoming people through the door and before you know it, you’re catching up like old friends, hearing their stories and looking forward to seeing them again.Building a distillery is one thing. Getting to meet such lovely humans along the way is a whole different kind of reward. 💙🧿
