That’s a wrap on SEG 2026. 🐟

It was a fantastic few days for the team, with plenty of positive conversations, new connections, and the opportunity to meet both existing and new partners across the seafood industry. Events like this are always a great way to strengthen relationships and stay close to what’s happening in the market.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us over the week. 🤝

The team is now back in Ireland and looking forward to following up on the opportunities and discussions from the event.

We recently had students from Coláiste Choilm visit us for a talk organised through See My Skills.

It was a really enjoyable experience. We spoke honestly about our jobs, our career paths, and what working life is actually like. We shared some of the challenges as well as the opportunities, and talked about the skills that really matter – like communication, teamwork and being open to learning.
The students were engaged and asked great questions, which made it even better.

It’s always nice to give something back and help young people see the different options available to them. Thanks to Coláiste Choilm and See My Skills for making it happen.

This opportunity would particularly suit someone local who is interested in building a long-term career in engineering while gaining hands-on experience in a real manufacturing environment.
