🥛MEET AMELIA CROOK — OATLY 🥛

The day after the Irish Aeropress Championships, we’re keeping the coffee party going! 🙌

On Saturday, October 17th, join us at Badger & Dodo, 87 South Mall, Cork City for A Day of Coffee — a free-entry day of tastings, samples and chats with some seriously brilliant people from across the coffee industry. 🌎☕️

Next up in our Day of Coffee line-up is Amelia Crook, Barista Market Developer with Oatly Ireland — and someone who knows a thing or two about bringing people, coffee and a bit of fun together.

Amelia’s journey through coffee has taken her from owning and running her own speciality café in Wales, to barista training and coffee education, and now to working with Oatly, where she gets to explore the intersection of coffee, alternative milk and creativity.

At 2.30pm, Amelia will be joining us for The Oatly Taste Experience — looking at alt milk, taste, texture and what makes a great coffee experience. And, of course, there’ll be plenty of Oatly samples to get stuck into. 👀🥛☕️

We’re really looking forward to hearing Amelia’s take on one of the biggest conversations in modern coffee — and seeing what she brings to the table.

Chantal is the Co-founder & Roaster at Ombú BCN Café & Tostadores, based in Barcelona, and Co-founder & Vice President of IWCA Spain. She’s also a People’s Choice Award winner at PRF Honduras and took home Best Filter in Europe at the 2025 Global Coffee Awards 🏆
