(I) shall be pausing until September!!

Lala’s started as a lockdown project to keep me out of trouble!

The idea was to deliver fresh, homemade + delicious lasagne to peoples homes. Using as much local produce as possible. To cater for all the colours of the food preference rainbow such as GF, DF, MF meat eaters, coeliac, vegans + vegetarians could all enjoy a big melty cheezy lasagne made with layers of love!

At the time of beginning this project most of the restaurants had closed + there were a few take away choices.

So, I thought Lasagne would be great for parents working from home with wild children running around the house between + during zoom calls!

Something to feed the whole family.

A dish that would keep a couple fed for a few days!

Also something that could be ordered and sent to someone else as a gift for a new baby arrival, a birthday, anniversary or just because it was Thursday and you were thinking of them!

People loved it! More than I had imagined! Kids loved it! Lasagne night! The smell of it cooking in the oven brings the whole family to the kitchen!

As predicted, the long awaited reopening of society was to make a small business like mine and all the other home made //home delivery hero’s of the lock down much more quiet. It’s was inevitable.
People needs and wants change quickly these days. We must all adjust to our own needs!
I’ve been enjoying eating out seeing everyone dressed up, people watching. Watching how each business has uniquely reopened their own way. It’s so interesting!

September will be a great time for us to re emerge from the summer pause! The cold will begin, sweater weather!! The leaves will fall, kids will be back at school and a warm lasagne on the table with a glass of wine will be top of you family needs list!

Now that we are back to the rain + drizzle of mid-week, don’t forget to order your Lala’s by 12pm tomorrow (Tuesday)for delivery this Thursday.
