West Cork Biscuit Co. We produce a range of individually handmade cookies and crackers from the heart of West Cork.

We have been making biscuits and crackers in our small bakery in the market town of Dunmanway – ‘The Friendly Heart of West Cork’ since 2003. We started making our biscuits by hand through necessity, then realised how much better they were made that way, rather than on a machine. So we’ve carried on, making the doughs in small batches, portioning and shaping the biscuits by hand, then baking them

in a traditional oven, and because every cookie we produce is individually hand-made no two cookies ever look exactly alike; because we use the best ingredients we can find, they are equally delicious. We have recently introduced new packaging and our biscuits are now sold under the banner of West Cork Biscuit Co.

From the first time Jane and Richard set up that stall at Clonakilty Farmers’ Market in 2003 the standards for our biscuits have stayed the same: always the best ingredients, especially Irish butter, and absolutely nothing artificial (although we do make an exception for baking soda!) 🍪

The doughs are still all made in small batches, the cookies are portioned and shaped by hand, then baked in a traditional oven 🔥
