A little change at The Fifth Quarter!

As part of the natural rotation of vendors at The Fifth Quarter, we’re saying a temporary goodbye to one of our favourite and original plaza family members Cairo2Cork Food Truck & Restaurant ❤️

From day one, they’ve played a huge part in bringing our community to life, and we’re incredibly grateful for the energy, passion and support they’ve brought to the plaza.

This next chapter gives them the opportunity to focus on their exciting new venture on Douglas Street, while taking some time to upgrade their food truck.

It also opens the door for a new independent food business to join our growing community!

This isn’t goodbye, just see you later! 🫶

We wish them every success in their next chapter and hope to welcome them back to the plaza in the future.

New faces, new flavours, same Fifth Quarter community. ❤️

The Cork Zombie Walk is coming on Saturday, 24 October. Get your costumes ready, round up your bravest friends and join us for a family-friendly Halloween takeover.

📍 Rory Gallagher Square, The Fifth Quarter
🕟 From 4:30pm with the 96FM Street Fleet and zombie face painting
🧟 Walk starts at 6pm

The first 75 tickets are €5, then €10 per person. A food and drink voucher is included, with all proceeds supporting the Dragon of Shandon 2026.

Organised by Cork Community Art Link with The Fifth Quarter, 96FM and Cork Business Association.
