Hortland Galways was established in 2019 and is a registered flock with the Galway Sheep Breeders Association. The flock is located in the heart of North Kildare. The Galway is Ireland's only native Sheep breed and deserves to be conserved for Historical, Scientific, Cultural and Agricultural reasons. The Breed has been granted Rare Breed Status and receives financial support from the Department of Agriculture.
