CATTLE SALE REPORT THURSDAY 18TH JUNE 2026.

We had a good entry of stock for this time of year and an excellent trade for quality cattle on offer. With extra grass, farmers seemed eager to purchase stock .
Prices were as follows:
▪️Forward cattle sold from €3.60 per kilo to €4.40 per kilo
▪️Medium weights sold €3.60 per kilo to €5.20 per kilo
▪️Lighter weights sold from €3.80 per kilo to €6.20 per kilo 
▪️AA Cattle sold from €3.20 per kilo to €4.20 per kilo
▪️FR Cattle sold from €3 per kilo to €3.80 per kilo
▪️Fat Cows sold from €1400 per head to €3220 per head

SHEEP SALE REPORT MONDAY 15TH JUNE 2026.

There was a good entry for today’s sale with a brisk trade for quality lambs.

Spring Lambs sold at:
€120 to €150 for 30-39kgs
€150 to €180 for 39-42kgs
€185 to €215 for 42-60kgs

Fat Ewes sold from €180/head to €280/head.
