As a wholly owned Irish company with over 100 employees, we started out as a small importer of specialist dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Over time, our flagship brand, Gem has become a firm family favourite and our products are often the first port of call for Bakers and Cooks all over Ireland, making us a known and much-loved Brand.

Chef Shane Smith's Chocolate Ghost Cupcakes are bursting with chocolatey goodness and topped with the cutest little ghosts! 🤍

A frightfully fun bake to make with the kids this Halloween… although we can’t promise the ghosts will survive until the party! 😂

A little bit of sugar, spice and all things SPOOKY coming your way tomorrow! 🍎👻🧁

I'm back in the kitchen on the RTÉ Today Show, and I've two cracking bakes lined up for you!

🍎 4.15pm – Classic Apple Slice
We're kicking things off with a good old-fashioned family favourite! Buttery pastry, a gorgeous apple filling, topped with a vanilla sponge, a big mug of tea is essential.

👻 5.15pm – Chocolate Ghost Cupcakes
Things are getting a little spooky as I team up with the lovely gang at Gem to whip up some BOO-tiful chocolate ghost cupcakes! Rich, chocolatey and almost too cute to eat... almost! 😂🍫

So whether you're after a comforting autumn bake or a little Halloween fun, I've got you covered!

Pop the kettle on, tune in and join me for a bit of baking and plenty of craic!

For Orla of irishmammycooks, this delicious homemade Tea Brack is a recipe filled with love, family and treasured memories. 🥰

Originally baked by her sister-in-law Marylou, it became a comforting family tradition and a beautiful reminder of Orla’s beloved mam and dad. ❤️

Now, Orla is passing this special recipe on to her daughter Bláthnaid, keeping those precious memories alive for the Next Gem-eration! ✨

🍞 Best enjoyed with a generous spread of Irish butter!
