Electric Picnic 2026 ❤️ WHAT AN EXPERIENCE.
Electric Picnic is one of the biggest festivals we’ve ever attended in the past 5 years, and for us, this genuinely feels like a huge step forward — stepping onto a bigger stage and seeing how far Kakilang has come.
We are truly, truly proud. 🥹
But behind the photos and the food… it was NO JOKE 😂
Our team went through 15–18 hour shifts every day for 5 days straight. Long hours, rain, mud, very questionable living conditions 😣 and somehow we still got up every morning and went again.
I honestly can’t thank our team enough. ❤️
And this weekend reminded us how lucky we are to have some amazing friends in the same industry. When things went wrong, people showed up for us.
Michael from Fire Food #— you literally RESCUED us 😂 If you didn’t turn up with your buggy, I genuinely don’t know how I was going to collect and move 300KG worth of stock. You saved us big time. 🙏
Elias from — I don’t think our setup day would have gone anywhere near as smoothly without you. Thank you for coming over and towing our fridge trailer for us because there was absolutely NO WAY my car was towing 2 tonnes 😂
Amy from — thank you for all the advice, tips and insights. Being our first time at EP, you made sure it definitely didn’t feel like our first time. ❤️
Noor from .and.loaded — thank you for the constant check-up calls and always making sure we had everything we needed. 🙏
And of course, THANK YOU to every single customer who came to visit us, tried our food, came back again, recommended us to friends or simply stopped by to say hello. Seeing so many of you there made all those crazy hours worth it. ❤️
Last but definitely not least — our team back at the shop.
While we were away feeling like we were literally AT WAR 😂 you guys were running Kakilang TWO STAFF MEMBERS DOWN and holding down the backbone of this company for us.
We see you. We appreciate you. ❤️
Electric Picnic pushed us physically and mentally, but it also showed us what our little business is capable of.
5 years ago, we would never have imagined Kakilang
