Levy UK + Ireland combines Irish business with Fitzers Catering
Dublin, 14 March 2022: Levy UK + Ireland, the sports and hospitality sector of Compass
Group UK and Ireland, today announces that it is combining its Irish business with Fitzers
Catering, an Irish family-owned catering company.
Culinary innovators and leaders in the Irish hospitality Industry since 1986, Fitzers Catering
is the provider of world-class culinary experiences for corporate events, conventions, and
sporting events at some of the most iconic heritage venues in Ireland. Its venues include
Convention Centre Dublin, host venue for Dublin Comic Con; Leopardstown racecourse the
home of the Dublin Racing Festival; Fairyhouse Racecourse, the venue for the Irish Grand
National; and The Curragh, host of the Irish Derby Festival.
The new partnership will allow Fitzers Catering to leverage Levy UK + Ireland’s scale and
experience to expand its operations and enable Levy UK + Ireland to grow further into the
Irish market in seven venues in total. This will build on Levy's existing presence in the region,
which already includes the Aviva Stadium. Fitzers Catering’s commitment to culinary flair and service perfection will further strengthen Levy UK + Ireland’s existing offer and will enable it to create more compelling and innovative solutions for its clients and consumers.
The two companies share an unparalleled passion for top-class food, outstanding customer service, and a deep commitment to their people.
Fitzers Catering will continue to be the leading brand of Levy UK + Ireland’s sports and conference operations in Ireland. Fitzers Catering’s Managing Director, Barry Storey, and other key senior management, including Fitzers Catering’s founders Sharon Fitzpatrick, Paula Fitzpatrick, and Leonard Fearon, will continue to manage and deliver services in the region.
The new joined-up approach will enable Fitzers Catering to continue its focus on sports and conferencing operations within Ireland and, through the power of Levy, will be able to
develop and secure new business opportunities throughout the region.
Compass Ireland, which is a separate business, will continue to focus in its areas of expertise, with Fitzers Catering targeting sports and leisure sectors.
