🌍 Ireland's first B Corp™ certified wine importer.

Three years in the making — and we couldn't be prouder.

B Corp means balancing profit with purpose. For people, communities and the planet. We now join 10,000+ certified businesses worldwide, and 115 right here in Ireland.

As our MD William Tindal says:
"We believe the B Corp principles align with our approach to work with producers who care for the land and to respect all people and stakeholders we encounter. More to do — but we're committed."

Proud of this moment. Excited for what's next. 🌱

We’re delighted to welcome Juan Muñoz-Oca and Leonardo Casini from who are visiting Ireland for the first time as part of their special celebratory year commemorating their Cabernet Sauvignon taking first place at the Judgement of Paris in 1976. This now iconic award was for the best red wine at the event, beating many celebrated fine wines from both the US and Bordeaux.

Juan is the Estate Director & Chief Operating Officer overseeing all Antinori-owned properties in the United States, while Leonardo is responsible for international market development and the commercial management of their premium wines.

While not in Ireland yet, their visit happens to coincide with the release of a Special Vintage, the S.L.V 2023, which will mark this historic milestone.

Their visit will include tastings and wine dinners as they tell the story of Stag’s Leap while experiencing our fantastic Irish hospitality. 🍇🍷

We were very happy to have Andrea Totis from renowned winery visit Ireland just recently. He and Tindal’s Declan Saunders took a spin down to the South/South West region to do some tastings & of course experience our lovely Irish scenery. Win win! 🍇

🍷 The Judgement of Paris at 50

In May 1976, a small blind tasting in Paris quietly shook the foundations of the wine world. Organised by British wine merchant Steven Spurrier and Patricia Gallagher, the event set top French Bordeaux and Burgundy wines against little‑known challengers from California. The judges—France’s most respected palates—had no idea what they were tasting. The result? California won!

The Stag’s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon topped the reds. A Chateau Montelena Chardonnay led the whites. Tradition, reputation and price were challenged and these quality wines stood out.

Why it mattered:
The Judgement of Paris shattered the old idea that fine wine could only come from Europe. It accelerated the rise of New World producers, transformed the global wine trade, and cemented blind tasting as a professional standard.

Why it still matters:
Fifty years on, the lesson resonates far beyond wine…it’s a case study in disruption where assumptions were challenged. A reminder that sometimes, real revolutions happen quietly, and in this case over a glass of wine!

Fantastic anniversary event coming soon. 🙌

🍇🇫🇷 We were delighted to welcome Domaine des Baumard to Ireland recently, bringing with them a story rooted in heritage, precision, and deep respect for the land.

With generations of history in Anjou, Baumard has become one of the Loire Valley’s defining estates — recognised for their exceptional expressions of Chenin Blanc. Under the guidance of Florent Baumard, the domaine balances tradition with progress, crafting wines that reflect purity of terroir, and complexity.

Practicing sustainable viticulture since the end of the 1950s means that sustainability sits at the heart of everything they do…meticulous vineyard management, environmental responsibility, and a long‑term vision that prioritises soil health and biodiversity for future generations.

Their visit was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Irish market and share insights, taste vintages and celebrate wines that portray confidence and integrity.🇮🇪🍷

William in the vineyards, meeting the people behind the wines we’re proud to provide recently 🇦🇷 🇨🇱

For us, it’s not just about great taste, it’s about how it’s grown. Sustainable practices, organic farming, and winemakers who truly care about the land.

Because better wine starts long before it reaches the glass. 🍷
