Looking for some new additions to your cellar? 🤔 Well we can certainly help with that!

Founded in 1999 by Eben Sadie, Sadie Family Wines has become the benchmark for terroir-driven winemaking in South Africa’s Swartland region.

After honing his craft both locally and abroad, Sadie set out to revive old, neglected vineyards — many dry-farmed bush vines — with viticulturist Rosa Kruger, bringing forgotten sites back to life. His philosophy centres on minimal intervention, natural fermentations, and the honest expression of place, using vessels such as concrete, amphora, and large neutral foudres to avoid masking terroir.

Today, the estate’s two main ranges — the Signature Series (Columella and Palladius) and the District Series (formerly Old Vine Series) — are celebrated worldwide for their purity, balance, and profound sense of origin, firmly establishing Sadie as a pioneer of modern South African fine wine.

The fantastic wines of Benedict & Stephanie Tissot

We're beyond excited to get hold of a few bottles for the world-renowned Jura producer Domaine Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot that we can now share with you.

Pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in the Arbois region, they craft an exceptional range of single-vineyard wines that beautifully express the unique marl and limestone terroirs of the Jura — delivering the precision and elegance associated with great Burgundy, yet with their own distinctive freshness, minerality, and ageing potential.

Their wines are released onto the Irish market in extremely small quantities. We've been able to secure a beautiful selection from the recent vintages that would make a wonderful addition to any fine wine collection or discerning cellar.

Have you tasted English Sparkling Wine?
Well, this is your chance!

On Tuesday 10th of March we are very excited to welcome Calum from the Wine Estate Langham into our Tasting Rooms in 141 Upper Leeson St, D4. We will be tasting through their English Sparkling range and learning from Calum.

Langham Wine Estate are wine-growers who specialise in making traditional method sparkling wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes grown on our 34 hectare vineyard on Crawthorne Farm in rural mid-Dorset.

Calum has been with Langham Wine Estate since early 2023. His route into wine began in Leeds, where, following a degree in Music Production, work as a waiter and trainee sommelier sparked a lasting fascination with the trade. A series of visits to English producers in 2019 proved a turning point, convincing Calum that the country’s fast-growing wine scene was something to be proud of, and that he wanted to be a part of it.

Proudly based in the west of England, Langham winemaking style seeks to transparently and honestly represent this incredible terroir. Compared to most sparkling wine producers, we take a minimal intervention, more oxidative approach to our winemaking, looking towards producers in the ‘Grower’ movement for inspiration.

In 2025, Langham was awarded the IWSC Sparkling Wine Producer Trophy, while also taking home eight trophies at the WineGB Awards, including Best Producer and Supreme Champion.

Beaujolais Noveau Soiree Wine Leeson Street

Join us on Thursday 20th November to celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Night!!!

A day to commemorate Beaujolais Nouveau, a celebration of the popular red wine made from Gamay grapes in the Beaujolais region of France. Historically, Beaujolais Nouveau was a celebration to mark the end of the harvest – the wine would be released early on the third Thursday in November, which subsequently became known as Beaujolais Nouveau day. 

If you’re looking for somewhere to mark the occasion in Dublin, look no further, we got you covered. 

Tickets are €25 per person, and include 2 glasses of wine and cheese plus discounts on bottles purchased on the night! 

Choose your time slot and pop in for a glass :) Join us to raise a glass or 2! ... from 6 till 10pm, see you there!

We are very excited to host the second edition of our NBHW Portuguese Wine Fair on Sunday October 12th. This event will be held at our store at 141 Leeson St Upper. 

After the first year's success, we cannot wait to do it again!

Portugal is well know for its wines, with over 250 indigenous grape varieties that do not grow anywhere else in the world. Join us to discover what makes portuguese wine so unique while tasting wines from all over Portugal.

We’ll have a wide range of wines available to sample at a relaxed walk-around tasting. Each time slot will be allocated 90 minutes to work your way through the range of wines.

There will also be some portuguese snacks and finger food, think portuguese olives, pastéis de nata (custard tart), bolinhos de bacalhau and much more. We will for sure have something to suit all tastes. We will be at hand to advice on wine and food pairings. Tickets are €39 per person. 

We hope you can join us for this once Portuguese Wine and Food Experience.
