Time really does fly—especially when you're building a startup.

Honestly, it feels like last year's Quality Food & Drink Awards were only two months ago, and somehow... here we are again.

Some days in the bakery hit differently.😱

Not everything goes smoothly behind the scenes.
Something went wrong today — still not exactly sure what happened — but 300 croissants didn’t turn out the way they should have, and we had to throw them away.

It hurts.😭

The time, the butter, the effort, the early mornings… all in the bin.

But this is part of baking too.

We learn, adjust, and show up again tomorrow at 6am to try again. 🥐

We’re looking for an experienced baker to join our team.

🕒 2 days per week
☀️ Day shifts only
🚫 No weekends

We’d love to hear from you if you:

- Have bakery experience
- Can make croissants / laminated pastries to a high standard
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Care about consistency and quality
- Are reliable and passionate about baking

The role will include:

- Mixing, shaping & baking
- Croissant production
- Prep & daily bakery duties
- Maintaining high food hygiene standards
