It was such a pleasure to host two SOLD OUT oyster workshops aboard a SHIP (!!) docked in Dungarvan harbour for ⚓️

Honestly one of the coolest venues ever. The sun was shining and the oysters were incredible (as always) thanks to the hard work of the wonderful and 🦪🌊

Big shoutout to the legend for taking beautiful pictures 🫶

Now, the important question. Should I buy a ship and set sail around the coast of Ireland giving oyster workshops wherever I dock?

I’ve had an amazing six months as an ACORN 10 participant under the mentorship of the inspiring and brilliant ✨

The impact of being able to sit down at a roundtable once a month and be given the opportunity to speak openly about my struggles and fears as well as my goals and aspirations in starting and running this business is really hard to put into words. But it’s been incredible. I started the programme with very specific goals I hoped to achieve, and through the support and mentorship of and the other women at the table, teased out where I want to business to go in the future.
In the end it’s clarified my mission with Oysome, which is to show the world just how amazing Irish oysters really are—teaching people how to shuck, handle, and savour them, so that every experience becomes a celebration 🦪 🫶

Big shout out to the ladies who I was lucky to sit at the table with over the last six months, can’t wait to see what the next six months and beyond has in store for each of ye 💕

Join Sarah Browne, founder of Oysome, at a pop-up oyster tasting bar in Allos Restaurant on Friday evening as part of . You can try your first oyster, or order a tasting platter with oysters from different regions in Ireland. Sarah will guide you through how to properly taste an oyster, as well as the differences in flavours that can be found from regions around ireland. As part of your dinner booking in Allo’s you can enjoy complimentary oysters from the pop-up oyster bar.

**Please note that a dinner booking is required for access to the oyster bar. This event is not suitable for children.**
