It’s Culture Night this Friday and there is an incredible programme of events on around the city. We’ve picked a few to highlight, some with food themes of course, that look particularly good and we can’t wait to check a couple of these out.
1. The culture of bread Bretzel Bakery - an evening celebrating traditional baking, craftsmanship and community with life baking demos.
2. Have we told you how much we love a market? Maybe once or twice! No surprise we’re mentioning that welovemarkets are bringing a special market to The Digital Hub for Culture Night.
3. Paella: A cultural history hosted by Blanca Valencia | Food Writer in the Instituto Cervantes Dublín will be a brilliant evening exploring how a peasant dish cooked over an open fire, and eaten communally, became Spain’s most photographed, most debated, and most misunderstood export.
4. Museum of Literature Ireland is opening its doors to visitors for free, where you can explore the museum after hours, wander through its historic buildings and gardens, and discover Irish literature in an immersive and inspiring setting.
5. Get ready to party at Shouk - an evening of fun, dancing and connection, bringing the Shouk Party to the neighbourhood and the vibrant Drumcondra community.
