One of the best parts of what we do is meeting the people behind the bottles. 🍾🍾

Last week we spent the day with David Llewellyn at Lusca Vineyard, exploring the vines, tasting the wines and learning first-hand what it takes to produce wine in Ireland's unique climate. 🍇🍇

It was an afternoon full of stories, great wines and genuine hospitality—and to finish, David gifted us a vine to take home and plant. 🌱🌱

The Deacon is a masterful blend of both smoky Speyside and peaty Islay malt whiskies, making for a complex, rich, and smoky dram. A blend of single malts from Islay, giving the characteristic peaty smoke flavour, along with single malts from the mainland giving a bonfire-like smoke character. Expect a nose of charred orange, sweet malty biscuits and woodsmoke gives way to juicy orange on the palate along with delicate spice, and tangy peat. The finish is both sweet and smoky, long and smooth.
