When one of our own needs help, we come together. ❤️

One of the loveliest things about being part of Dublin city centre is the wonderful community of people behind the shops, restaurants and businesses. Over the years, working relationships become friendships, and we look out for one another.

On 3rd July, 23-year-old Will Hennessy, the son of our dear friends at ESL Jewellers, suffered a devastating accident that left him with a life-changing spinal cord injury.

The Will Hennessy Trust has been established to help fund the specialist care, rehabilitation and home adaptations Will will need on the long road ahead.

We're asking our wonderful Corkscrew community to please help support Will and his family in any way they can.

The latest Limited Edition from Midleton Very Rare

Introducing the Midleton Very Rare Irish Sweet Chestnut Edition, an extremely limited release and the first Irish wh***ey to be matured in Irish sweet chestnut wood.

Eight years of exploration led by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman has gone into this exceptional expression. Initially matured in American oak bourbon barrels for 12 to 19 years, the wh***ey was then re-casked into specially crafted sweet chestnut hogsheads made from sustainably sourced trees from Cappoquin Estate in County Waterford.

The result is a rich and distinctive Single Pot Still wh***ey, with caramel sweetness, orchard fruit, woodland spice, chocolate, nutty character and earthy wood tones.

Bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered, this is Midleton Very Rare with a distinctly Irish influence.

Extremely limited. Highly collectible. A world first in Irish wh***ey.

One of the best parts of what we do is meeting the people behind the bottles. 🍾🍾

Last week we spent the day with David Llewellyn at Lusca Vineyard, exploring the vines, tasting the w**es and learning first-hand what it takes to produce w**e in Ireland's unique climate. 🍇🍇

It was an afternoon full of stories, great w**es and genuine hospitality—and to finish, David gifted us a vine to take home and plant. 🌱🌱
