What an incredible, emotional, and deeply rewarding day one on the DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland build site with the fantastic Baz Ashmawy! 🛠️😎🔥

We are blown away by the buzz of the DIY SOS site—the energy, the camaraderie, and the sheer determination of hundreds of tradespeople and volunteers coming together to change a family’s life.

We were absolutely honoured to play our part by doing what we do best: keeping this incredible army of volunteers fuelled, fed, and energised.

This special initiative was delivered in partnership with our amazing team member and scout leader, Anita Oman, alongside our long-standing partners, the 5th Wicklow (Bray) Sea Scout Group. Bringing our communities together to support such a worthy cause made the day even more meaningful.

An operation like this doesn't happen in a vacuum, and we want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to the people who made today possible:

When we reached out and said we wanted to feed the DIY SOS build crew, you didn't hesitate. We are incredibly grateful to our suppliers who stepped up to donate ingredients, equipment, and essential supplies entirely for free:

•Keelings : For supplying fresh, delicious produce to keep everyone healthy and energised.

A wonderful night at the Gold Medal Catering Awards. Please join us in congratulating Philip Brennan on winning Silver for Foodservice Chef of the Year. Similarly please join us in congratulating our entire QWellness Team, and Karen Dalton, on winning Silver for Health and Nutrition Menu of the Year. Whilst our incredible founder and CEO Breda Quigley won Gold in a Special Recognition Award.

Sun out, grills lit, hearts full. 🍔☀️

The Q Cafe Company team had the absolute privilege of hosting a summer BBQ for the incredible families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Ireland.

When a child is seriously ill, a family’s entire world shifts. The Ronald McDonald House provides an invaluable "home-away-from-home" so parents and siblings can stay right beside their child in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.

Through their "Cook for Families" initiative, our goal was simple: take the cooking off their minds for a day, fire up the grill, and bring everyone together for a bit of comfort, community, and great food.

A massive thank you to our brilliant culinary team, led by Karen, Martin & Anita, who brought the energy (and the best burgers in town!), and to our fantastic suppliers who didn't hesitate to chip in with the freshest produce.

We are incredibly proud to support the vital work Ronald McDonald House does every day. Nothing matters more than keeping families together when they need it most. ❤️
