Think of hair oiling as feeding your hair before wash day, rather than trying to fix it afterwards.

In Ayurveda, hair oiling is known as Shiroabhyanga: the practice of gently massaging warm oil into the scalp to nourish dry hair while creating a moment of calm and grounding.

Warm a small amount of oil, apply it section by section as shown, massage it slowly into the scalp and work the remainder through the lengths. Leave it on for 30 minutes (or overnight) before washing thoroughly.
