A knockout morning 🥊🌭🏃🏻‍♀️

When boxer Kellie Harrington invited us to bring the Kearns Sizzler van down to The Strand Pitch, it was the easiest ‘yes’ ever.

Kearns was born on Parnell Street in 1905 and has been part of day-to-day life in D1 - and beyond - ever since.

From stories of being sent for sausages wrapped in brown paper and string, to the Kearns in Kellie’s mam’s fridge today, and being the only choice for a proper coddle - we loved hearing what Kearns means to this community.

It was our pleasure to fuel hungry runners returning from a 5k run, local clubs, families and residents with a proper taste of home. 💛
