Is there anything better than a bowl of freshly steamed Irish mussels, swimming in a light white wine cream broth, with a generous chunk of homemade bread ready to soak up every last drop? 🦪🍞
Add a cosy Irish pub, good company, and a pint on the side… and we’re not sure it gets much better than this. 🇮🇪☘️

This is the kind of simple, comforting food that makes you want to slow down, savour every bite, and stay for one more round.

🏈 **One crazy night at the Aviva!** 🇮🇪🇺🇸

When Andrew & Stacey joined our whiskey tour on Friday, we definitely didn’t expect them to be handing us tickets to see ** vs North Carolina** at the Aviva Stadium! 🙌

So Lara and I headed off for a night of college football, and WOW… what an atmosphere! 🏈🔥

We had cheerleaders, marching bands, huge hits, touchdowns and an incredible crowd. And because this is Dublin, we even spotted some familiar faces from the rugby world — including **Ian Madigan, Devin Toner and Scottish international Jim Hamilton**! 🏉

A massive thank you to Andrew & Stacey for the tickets and for giving us the excuse for one seriously brilliant night out! ❤️

**Whiskey tour by day… college football by night!** 😂🥃🏈
Congratulations to on the win and the great fans!!

🥃👃 It’s all about the aroma!

On the Flavour Trails tour, Lara and Trish learn that tasting whiskey starts long before you take a sip. They’re using a beautiful Túath glass to really open up the whiskey and capture those amazing aromas.

The shape of the Túath glass is designed to concentrate the whiskey’s aromas, helping you pick up all those little details — vanilla, spice, fruit, toasted oak and everything in between. ✨

And yes… there is a proper technique! Give it a gentle swirl, bring it to your nose and take your time. You might be surprised by just how much you can discover before the whiskey even reaches your lips.

🥃 Look.
👃 Nose.
👅 Taste.
❤️ Enjoy.

That’s the fun of discovering Irish whiskey with Flavour Trails!

There’s a story in every bite… 🍃🐟
A delicious plate of pan-fried Irish salmon, golden baby potatoes and garden peas — simple, comforting, and wonderfully Irish. 🇮🇪 M.J. Wright Pub

But follow this flavour trail a little further, and it leads deep into Irish mythology…

Legend tells of the Salmon of Knowledge (Bradán Feasa), a magical salmon who gained all the world’s knowledge after eating the hazelnuts of wisdom that fell into the Well of Fec. The young hero Fionn mac Cumhaill was destined to receive that knowledge — and, in the story’s most famous twist, gained it by tasting the salmon’s skin.

So, as you enjoy your own Irish salmon, remember: this humble fish has a rather extraordinary place in Ireland’s imagination. ✨

Follow the flavour. Discover the story.

🌸🌿 Dublin, dressed in flowers! 🌿🌸
One of the little joys of exploring Dublin is spotting the colourful flower displays outside the city’s pubs. From overflowing hanging baskets to beautiful window boxes and vibrant blooms framing the doors, they add so much character to the streets — and make the journey between venues just as enjoyable as the destination. 🍻🌺

And the best part? You’ll see them all on a Flavour Trails tour! 👣✨

As we make our way from one carefully chosen venue to the next, we’ll take in Dublin’s iconic pub fronts, hidden corners and those gorgeous floral displays along the way. It’s all part of experiencing the city — its flavours, stories, people and personality.

Come hungry, bring your camera, and let us show you Dublin one delicious stop at a time. 🍽️🍺🌸
