A BIG thank you to everyone who braved the weather yesterday and came to shop with us under the big green tent! These blustery days remind us why we cannot be open all year long as much as we’d like to! There are only THREE market days left till our season is over - but we’ll stay busy the rest of the year planning and creating for the 2027 season - so make sure to follow along to see how we prep for a new year and get a sneak peek into what’s in store for next year ! You can still find us in the square the next three Saturdays rain or shine - with special treats to celebrate Halloween, tons of lovely crafts , jams, marmalades, chocolates and beautiful autumn flowers! Everything is hand baked, grown or made locally with the freshest of Irish ingredients - stop by and bring home something wonderful !

Tomorrow’s market day! Join us under the big green tent in the market square - we’ll be there from 10-1 with tables full of lively treats and beautiful crafts ! Growing season is winding down, but we still have beautiful flowers for the table, as well as pots of herbs and the last of the autumn veg. There’s plenty of jams and chutneys, fresh eggs and pickles, new baked bread and cakes . Fresh and smoked mackerel are available, and as a special treat w have mackerel pate. Lots of ready meals including pies, quiches ,sausage rolls and soups. Some not so scary Halloween friends are in our zoo, and we have beautiful knitted and crocheted hats socks scarves and sweaters. There’s always a few surprises in store , and with only four markets left for the season it would be a shame to miss out ! Looking forward to seeing you under the big green tent !

A very late reminder that tomorrow is market day ! Join us in the market square from 10-1 We’ll be under the big green tent with lots of delicious treats and gorgeous crafts. Only FIVE markets left for the 2926 season so time to stock up on your favorites! many of our bakes freeze well and some of our goods ( like our delicious jams) have a long shelf life! Our sweaters hats and stuffies make perfect Christmas gifts and our chocolates are the perfect hostess gift !
This week we have some lovely new prints and cards and Halloween stuffies have been added to the zoo. Stop by under the big green tent and bring home something wonderful - and don’t forget to follow along as we head into our ‘ quiet time’ to see what goes on behind the scenes

We have some new cards available at the Dunfanaghy Country and I love them so much I couldn’t wait to share them with you ! These cards are all hand threaded ( which takes a LOT of skill and patience ) and are absolutely beautiful. Available for now in Christmas and birthday designs, these cards are a great accompaniment to any gift or perfect on their own ! Due to the time it takes to make each card they are available in limited quantities only so make sure to grab one while you can! They’ll be at the market this Saturday - and with only five markets left the time to shop is now !
