🌟 Welcome Back to Afterschool! 🌟

A very warm welcome to all our amazing afterschool children, and a very special welcome to all our new children joining us this year! 💛

We are delighted to have you with us and are looking forward to a fantastic year filled with fun, friendship, creativity, laughter and new experiences.

We will begin our year by focusing on building positive relationships and encouraging respectful communication between our children and staff. We want every child to feel safe, valued, listened to, included and happy within our service.

Together, we will create our daily themed activities and weekly routine, giving the children opportunities to share their ideas, interests and suggestions. Their voices and choices will help shape what we do each day.

We are excited to get to know all our children, make new friendships and create lots of wonderful memories together throughout the year. 🌈✨

As our Afterschool Service draws to a close and we approach our 'End of Year Party', we would like to take this opportunity to appreciate our wonderful Afterschool Children.
We have had so many good moments since September. Watching you all grow during the year has been a hugely proud moment for us. Everyone has worked so hard at Afterschool to make it better each day; that is something that would not be possible without our amazing children. WELL DONE ALL OF YOU FOR WORKING TOGETHER SO POSITIVELY.
We would also like to thank our Afterschool parents who have supported us during the year, it is very much appreciated.
Finally, we would like to wish all of our children and their families a very happy, safe and restful Summer. We look forward to seeing you all in September again!

A huge congratulations to our fantastic Afterschool children for their continued hard work. Their combined efforts have filled our marble jar and enabled a collective reward to be enjoyed by all our children. After a collective discussion, the children chose to have Apache pizza and a movie.
Angie and Teresa are so very proud of you all. We will continue to work together to enjoy our happy and safe environment. 👏👏🏅🍕📽

Homework is also completed with children getting 1-1 help if needed. We allocate a half hour window increasing/decreasing based on the child's individual capability on each corresponding day.

Along with our Afterschool structure, we work hard on reinforcing positive behaviour. Here at our Afterschool we have various behaviour management strategies in place, to promote good behaviour. Our children are rewarded individually and as part of a group, to develop teamwork, empathy and kindness.

Our structured activities promote a balanced learning environment, catered for each child individually. We offer alternative activities to meet the needs of every individual child. Our programme follows a carousel of activity stations.

•Board games, trivia and quizzes
•Movie day
•Children's choice
