Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and crucial for health. Grass-fed beef can have 3-4 times more og the omega-3 fatty acid content that grain-fed beef has.

The animal’s diet right before slaughter significantly impacts levels. So, beef that’s mostly grass-fed but grain-finished might not have the same benefits.

That’s one of the many reasons why it’s better to choose grass fed beef from the beltie farm 🐮💚

Belted Galloway cattle are well adjusted to cold, harsh climates (as seen is recent weeks), with their woolly winter coats. In Summertime, they adjust by shedding their coat and thus tolerate warm climates better than other cold adapted cattle. Belted Galloways originate from the hilly south west of Scotland & are celebrated for their efficiency on rough forage, maternal ability &high quality beef. Our Belties have an abundance of thistles, dandelions, dock leaf, brambles, rushes & heather to feast on at their free range home here in county Kildare. 🌱🌾☘🌳
