What a day Bushypark had yesterday at the Irish Shorthorn premier show and sale in Carrick Showgrounds. Bushypark had great success in the show ring where we secured 3 firsts, 1 second, overall junior female champion, reserve junior female champion and overall reserve female champion. Bushypark Róisín 4th topped the sale at €8,000. Bushypark Róisín Rose sold for €5,800. Bushypark Dandoline 6th sold for €4,500. Bushypark Cherry 6th Sold for €3,100. To achieve record price for a shorthorn heifer calf sold at the Premier sale is just phenomenal.

Thank you to all the bidders and buyers. Best of luck to the new owners with their purchases. Thanks to the judge on the day Janet Dunning who judged the females. Massive thanks to the Irish Shorthorn Society for a well organised successful show and sale. Congratulations to Sam Dudley & Henry Dudley of Dekeana Pedigrees with the record price of €6,300 for a Shorthorn bull calf ever sold at the Premier sale. Thanks to Denise for the photos and coverage over the day. Thanks to Karl Kelly for all the help and for clipping the heifers.
