Ahascragh Distillery will be a state-of-the-art distillery and visitor experience in the West of Ireland. We are transforming a nineteenth century mill in to a world class experience and hospitality destination inside a working craft distillery in the village of Ahascragh, County Galway. The eco-distillery be powered by renewable energy, using new innovative technology. We have a passion and drive

to produce some of the first zero emissions whiskey and gin in Ireland. The Old Mill Shop & Café is now open in the village with clear views of our progress. The perfect place to sit and watch history in the making.

Ahead of the release of our very own Ahascragh Whiskey in early 2027, we are proud to unveil the new Ahascragh Distillery logo: the griffin.

The griffin unites the family crests of our founders - the lion and the golden eagle - intertwined within the letter “A” for Ahascragh. It represents the coming together of two families, their shared vision and the home of the many brands proudly crafted at Ahascragh Distillery.

The golden eagle will remain the distinctive emblem of Clan Colla, honouring the brand’s heritage and identity.
