Back around to Show Season😀
A super day out for us and our team last Sunday in Athenry Agricultural Show. We had a very enjoyable day. We were delighted to recieve reserve Champion with our Shearling Ram Woodfield Ninja. We recieved an array of Rosettes for some more of the team members. Huge congrats to Michael Comer Ballinagrally Zwartbles with Champion Ram Lamb.

A special mention to our little 5yr old Rían who got second place in a big young handles class. He answered the questions so well and knew his stuff. He was chuffed to say the least💙

Thanks to Athenry Agricultural Show for hosting us. Thanks to Brian Beneson from Brickpark Zwartbles for a thorough job Judging and Thanks to Mary and Hillary for all the help prepping before and on the day👍👏💪

Weaning week on the farm. Our Early lambs sorted and weaned over the past few weeks. The bulk of them born second week of January. They had a tough spring with the weather but we all got throught it. Its a great sence of achievement when we get to this stage😀💪👏👌

We had a great week lambing this week. Thankfully It went very well for us... What a team we are and have here to keep it all going. From the small people to the bigger people😀
Fair play to Davie and our Slaughty Shepardess Mary who kept it all going day and night, with a few great days help from Katie Hodgins Whyte👏👏
Also a big happy 17th birthday today to Katie🎂

Now to wait for our repeats in a weeks time or so and then onto the March Batch👍👏🤞

Another year on again and the help is getting bigger and better for the annual ''middle of the night'' lambing adventure. The best of help on Friday night last from this 2 mighty little men👏👏
They were looking forward to it all week😀. The night went well with having 4 ewes lamb with a batch new borns. The lads made sure everything was safe from Lambs getting Colostrum to giving milk and training the pets to suck, bedding and preparing lambing pens they were hands on 💪
The lads get stuck in and bring lambs into the world themselves now, looking forward to letting them at it😀
A well deserved cup of CoCo at 6 am and back to bed for a few hours👏👍😀

2025 was an absolutely amazing year for us on the show circut, in the sales ring, for both our sheep and most of all our young Shepards! 🥇🥈

We would like to thank all the people that bought sheep of us throughout the year, we wish them all the very best with them. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.
