The concept of sustainable land management is to recognise that land is a finite resource and that its use should not compromise the ability of future generations to use it. The aim is to use land resources to support economic growth, social wellbeing, and environmental sustainability. This requires a holistic approach that considers the relationships between different land uses, such as agriculture, forestry, and urban development and the impact of human activities on the natural environment. Situated in the "Big Glen" of Glenties, just one mile out of the town. Coming in over the Highlands and Moorlands it seems like an oasis positioned on the northwest edge of the Blue Stack Mountains, set against a backdrop of beautiful mountain scenery. Close by to the west is a rich variety of coastal scenery with smooth white sandy beaches as well as stretches of rough rocky coastline. We not only manage, we also work our own land and land belonging to people who trust us to produce profit on behalf of them in a sustainable and ecological way.
